Want to know if broadband is available where you live? Or in your state, or in the country? Fear not -- here is the National Broadband Map, courtesy of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration and the FCC. There are all kinds of ways to play around with the information; this, for instance, is a map of places in the U.S. that have at least two broadband providers:


You'll note the irony that at the moment, Democrats are working to get broadband to every area of the country, yet the places where there are lots of Democrats already have it. Republicans aren't favorably inclined, yet the places where there are lots of Republicans are drastically underserved. Welcome to American politics in the 21st century.
