The Little Picture: Fools of April.

For the month of March, Topeka, Kansas, became Google, Kansas. Google reciprocated in kind by renaming itself Topeka for April Fool's Day.

Because it's a slow news week, we at the Prospect also underwent some adjustments on our homepage. In case anyone was persuaded by Matthew Yglesias' satire, he really does love the House of Representatives! And Rosa DeLauro's wardrobe!

Also, Ann Friedman has not been replaced by Clay Shirky, and Paul Waldman would rather have his mouth washed out with lye soap than use the phrase "Democrat Party" in earnest.

Be strong! The year's sneakiest day is almost over, and we'll be back with our standard fare tomorrow.
