Momma said wonk you out

GOTV IN OHIO.

It says something profound that the least inspiring part of this Ohio GOTV video is the Obama speech. Good organizing is the process of making big problems seems vulnerable to small efforts. This is good organizing.

"118,601. That's a number you should know. That's the number of votes John Kerry lost Ohio by. That breaks down to 9 votes per precinct. Nine votes in your neighborhood."

"So can you get nine votes?"

Obama's ground game really impresses me. When it is all over, I would love to see a mass-up of these videos and the snide Palin/McCain remarks about "community organizing."

If I would guess, the music in the background would be something from the Dropkick Murphys

Really well done video - although the interspersed clips of the football games seemed a bit out of place.

Obama's superior ground game is the one thing thats keeping me from freaking out. Even if the polls are off and the race is much tighter than people realize, one inarguable fact is that Obama is gonna kick McCain's ass in GOTV, which could end up being the difference.
