Isn’t a bit weird that Laurence Tribe wrote his angry letter to Obama urging him not to nominate Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court because she was a dumb bully on the same day The New Republic published an anonymously sourced piece by Jeffrey Rosen saying essentially the same thing?
Isn’t it also a bit weird that piece was published despite Rosen’s admission that “I haven’t read enough of Sotomayor’s opinions to have a confident sense of them?” Why was he in such a rush?
