It’s not particularly extraordinary to see cyber hijinks in the final days of a close election, but it looks like the web site for California’s No on Prop 8 Campaign, as well as the site for Florida’s No on Prop 2 campaign (both campaigns are trying to convince folks to vote down amendments banning gay marriage), have both been brought down with Denial-of-Service attacks. I mention it only to note my quasi-surprised reaction: I somehow don’t associate that level of technical sophistication with the folks who sit in hard opposition to gay rights. Which is probably slightly bigoted in its own way.
