Kentucky Dems Trump Paul's Turnout.

So, speaking of our favorite libertarian Senate candidate (sorry Pat Toomey!), here's one fact that's pretty important when you're thinking about Rand Paul's chances of victory in Kentucky: During Tuesday's primary, some 351,931 Republicans turned out, and 206,816 voted for Paul. That same day, some 520,412 Democrats voted, and 228,531 supported Jack Conway, the Democratic nominee. This, on a day when Republican primary voters were supposed to be at their peak enthusiasm.

The disproportionate Democratic turnout suggests, as I wrote Tuesday, that there is a plausible victory scenario for a Democrat in the Bluegrass State. Especially now that Paul has come out in opposition to the Civil Rights Act ...
