Biking to work yesterday, I found myself following a car which sported bumper stickers saying “Civil war nut!” and “Obama 08!” If I were Thomas Friedman, that would’ve been enough for a two-book deal.

But I’m not, and I didn’t even think to take a phone picture. As it was, I figured this was just Jim Webb’s car, but then I noticed the sticker proudly claiming that the driver was a “Union Reenactor,” and my sense is that Webb spends his weekends crushing the skulls of those who oppress the Scotts-Irish (sort of like Luke Cage, but the reverse) and doesn’t have time for reenactment.
