Bill First appears to have started some sort of community-oriented health care blog — MedicalMatters.org. According to the mission statement, the site will “promote the GOP’s health care policy priorities and provide a forum to discuss 21st century medical challenges…[and] also highlight the failures of the Democrat Party to address these long-term challenges.” Rarely do you see such clumsily ostentatious partisanship on a senator’s web site, but never underestimate the ineptitude of Frist and his team. As of yet, there’s no blogging from Frist — only DoubleHelix, Sailor, and Healthalicious have posted. But I see a lot of potential for the site. Quicktimes of Frist dissecting a cat? Flash games where you can learn how to do the same? The possibilities are endless.
