I’m trying to answer’s Tony Vila’s question, “do coattails matter?“, and in sore need of data. In particular I’m looking for US Senate & House election results from the ’70s, ’80s, and maybe ’90s, including vote totals or percentages for each individual candidate. Does anyone know where I can find them? The Clerk of the House has federal election results in PDF, but that’s obviously suboptimal for research purposes.
