As we enter the election’s homestretch, folks interested in putting a bit of money behind races that can flip on the cheap should check Hilzoy’s excellent and comprehensive rundown of various candidates and races you may not have heard of, but should nevertheless take a look at. I mention this every so often, but these races will be lost without money. With money, they can be won. And while you may only be able to donate a bit, your bit together with everyone else’s bit will create a war chest, or a GOTV program, or an ad. Your bit could flip a race. And your race could flip Congress. No one, after all, wants to wake up one dreary morning in November to find out Democrats fell short by one seat, because on one seat the Democrat got outspent by $2,000,000 and needed 71 more votes.
