If it weren’t actually documented, and someone told me that they believed the CIA was conducting mind-control experiments on entirely innocent, unwitting American citizens using LSD, radiation, magic mushrooms, and electroshock therapy…that would have been classic “conspiracy theory” territory. But, well, they did.
