AH, THE GOOD OLD DAYS. Anyone who remembers early internet magazines (e-zines!) remembers the early greats of the original boom and pre-boom year, such as The Word, Feed, and @ New York. Today, via Tim Cavanuagh at The Los Angeles Times‘ Opinion Blog, comes this great history of the greatest of them all, the late lamented Suck.com. Suck is hard to explain to newcomers to the net. Suffice is to say, in the pre-blog era, it was what the cool kidz read for laughs every morning, the Spy magazine of the dot-com generation. Filler. The best column ever.
