KID STUFF. Has anyone else noticed how unrepresentatively fecund the men of the G.O.P. presidential field have been? There’s been a fair bit of attention focused on Mitt Romney‘s five boys, thanks in no small measure to efforts to publicize them by the campaign itself, but little attention on the large number of children sired by the rest of the Republican field. Sam Brownback also has five children. This is highly unusual — only 3 percent of American families have four or more children.
TK, TK, TK have three a piece. On the Democratic side Hillary Clinton has one child and Barack Obama has two. Only John Edwards had four (three surviving).
