HAVE A PINT. BUT DON’T DRIVE A MILE AFTER. The European Union, in its infinite wisdom, has decided to allow Great Britain to continue to sell some goods — including beer — under the imperial system. Road signs can continue to list mile measurements, as well.
This leaves just three countries that continue to use the imperial system as their only official system: The United States, Myanmar, and Libya. Is it time for us to join the community of nations and go metric?
