I think it’s to the credit of Ron Wyden’s Healthy Americans Act that Cato’s Michael Cannon surveyed the conservatives attached to the legislation and decided that they’re either morons whose “understanding of the legislation was sufficiently dim” that they were tricked into support or political opportunists. Similarly, The National Review has also been hammering the plan. Higher praise I could hardly imagine.
