Barack Obama joined Ronald Burris’ black nationalist crusade to become a Senator by pressuring Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to stop embarassing himself. So doing, Obama breaks his implicit promise to white people that he would be a beard for them against all accusations of racism and keep the Negroes in line, as long as he was elected president. The Senate doesn’t want to seat Burris because it doesn’t countenance or honor corrupt individuals in its midst.
It must take some dexterity to clutch your pearls like that and wag your wingers at the same time.
