What sort of sense does this make?
For more than 15 years now, Hillary has been the incarnation of Big Government. She votes with taxpayers only 9 percent of the time, according to the National Taxpayers Union.
Wouldn't voting with taxpayers mean, literally, voting with taxpayers? Voting in the direction the majority of taxpayers either do or would vote? I realize that the Cato kids are using it in the sense of voting with Grover Norquist, but these words are actually supposed to denote subjects and verbs. If you want to call estate taxes "death taxes" and the Democratic Party "Democrat," so be it. But at least arrange your sentences so they approximate the intended meaning. Hackishness has its place, but it should never be prioritized so far atop clarity.
