I'm extremely concerned about the clear subversion of democracy and popular will evident within the Teen Choice Awards. The need for an independent monitoring agency, if not an armed international force in a watchdog role, is increasingly crucial. We can only hope that liberals haven't overlearned the lessons of Iraq, and will join with us in advocating that America affirmatively protects the universal values we claim to honor.
