The American Ambassador says, "When the President announced a surge, he pledged to seek and destroy Iranian-supported lethal networks inside Iraq. We will continue to aggressively uproot and destroy them. ... Iran has a choice to make." It seems almost too easy to beat Crocker up about this, but he just said, "Osama bin Laden has called Iraq 'a perfect base.'" Shouldn't we at least admit that the reason Iraq is a perfect base is because of our invasion and occupation? --Dana Goldstein
