Phillip Toledano's father is 98. He's a wonderful storyteller, a bit lewd, and still writes prodigious personal notes in a neat, clean cursive script. He is also forgetful, and tired, and frustrated. Phillip Toledano is a photographer, and he done a series on the twilight of his father's life, which is both a beautiful tribute and a quietly sad examination of the pitilessness of age. The photos, along with Toledano's thoughts, are online. (Via Patrick Appel)
