I linked yesterday to Josh Marshall's analysis of Barack Obama's "Appalachia problem." Lots of folks have e-mailed me to point out DHinMI's earlier work on the same subject, which is brilliant and comprehensive and I'm frustrated I missed. So credit where it's due. And think, for a moment, how much more enlightening this post by a DailyKos writer is than anything you've read on the op-ed pages in the last month.
