It's worth noting that this was yet another case in which the exit polls released throughout the day totally misreported the outcome. Seriously: Never believe those things. Once fully updated, tabulated, adjusted, and all the rest, they're useful for examining the expressed preferences of different demographics. But on the day of an election, they are total trash from a predictive standpoint.
