The other day, I mentioned the legendary Gay Talese article "Frank Sinatra Has A Cold," which I quickly realized I'd never actually, you know, read. Well, now I have, and it's quite good. Sadly for Sinatra, all the virtuous things he does are related as depersonalized, third-person tales while the behavior the reporter actually observes makes him out to be sort of a jerk, but it's still a great profile.
