It's about a month old, but I thought this piece by Mike Lux over at Open Left was well worth the read. Lux reminds everyone that even most Democratic activists are supporting this or that particular candidate for reasons other than their specific issue positions. The top four campaigns have done a very good job at blurring the policy distinctions among them, leaving many voters to pick candidates based on "soft" traits such as their personal background, perceived electability, etc.
Meanwhile, the conversation about candidates out here in the blogosphere is probably somewhat different from the one occuring in every little nook and cranny of Iowa.
