White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs should not have referred to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as Iran's "elected leader" and it's a good thing that he's taken it back.
At the same time, Gibbs' flub is not equivalent to Neville Chamberlain acquiescing to Hitler's invasion of the Sudetenland. For some people, every foreign policy problem is equivalent to the one that preceded the most violent conflict in world history. It's hard to imagine a teenager being that self-absorbed.
