Apparently, Jason Furman would read Brad DeLong's blog if Brad has an econ-only RSS feed. I share the sentiment for a variety of sites (and I fear many folks feel that way about mine -- a no-health-policy feed, mayhaps?), but I fear the feeling. This is particularly on my mind after an argument the other day over whether blogs would, in fact, degrade the "incidental learning" that occurs when you open up a newspaper and randomly see a story. I went with "nay," as the array of interests a blogger holds generally includes at least a couple categories I would consider "incidental" and never naturally seek out. But if we can download only the posts we're interested in, well, there goes my argument...
