Nick makes the case for an Obama-Rendell ticket, and is fairly convincing. Rendell doesn't do much for the narrative -- save insofar as he's a Clinton supporter, and a Jew -- but if you're worried about Pennsylvania staying in the Democratic column, he can probably keep it blue. And given that Obama is supposed to be weak with members of the Tribe, he could be helpful there, too. Problem is, I don't know much about Rendell. Is he a good governor? A serious progressive? Or just one of these brash, tough-seeming politicians that self-conscious liberals like so much?
