The fact that the Senate omnibus bill died last night after Republicans reneged on a months-old agreement means that the funding for civilian trials of Gitmo detainees will continue as long as the Defense Authorization Act is passed as currently written. But since Congress is going to have to pass some kind of temporary funding bill, I wouldn't be surprised if the ban made its way back in there.
