The hypocrisy and self-righteousness of the McCain campaign are getting pretty hard to take. To attack Obama for not suspending his campaign when your campaign has already held a rally slamming him that day is pretty rich. And then you get Rick Davis crying those big ol' crocodile tears about having to cancel Bush's speech at the convention. Poor Rick Davis! Meanwhile. John McCain is planning a campaign stop in Gustave -- though I'm sure they're using some other euphemism for a visit during the campaign in which McCain gives a speech meant to improve his standing with voters -- which I'm sure the local authorities, currently desperately trying to coordinate evacuation and relief efforts, will just love. Delicate group over there.
