One of the side effects of getting Don Imus off the radio is that it eliminates one of a handful media outlets whose audience skews towards right-of-center, conservative-but-reachable quasi-populist white men. Well, there are plenty of other outlets, but Imus was the rare bird who was also receptive to Democrats (and not just the most conservative Democrats, either). I say: think outside the box! If I was a campaign consultant, and I really wanted to reach that audience, I'd get my candidate on "Pardon the Interruption", "Cold Pizza", and as many in-booth appearances on ESPN as possible, especially during college football games. Sure, the audience doesn't self-select for politics, but the options for a white-male dominated audience are slim.
