My college paper breaks the news -- President Barack Obama will be speaking tomorrow at Georgetown University's Gaston Hall. The speech has not yet been announced to the press, and the White House isn't saying yet what the the president will be talking about; the e-mail sent to Georgetown students says he'll be discussing the economy. Not sure if this is news coming down the pipe, but it's pretty short notice for a high-profile address from the president. Speculation in the comments, please. UPDATE: The official announcement: "The President will discuss how each step his administration has taken to confront this economic crisis fits within his broader vision of how we move this economy from recession to recovery and ultimately to prosperity. He’ll also talk about the significant work that remains to be done to get the economy moving forward once again."
