Things are still tight in Indiana, a pretty reliably red state. The CNN exits could portend some pretty bad news for McCain, though. He won men 52-47, but Obama is winning women with the numbers reversed. The key difference is that women in Indiana made up 53-47% of the vote this time. –A. Serwer

According to CNN, black voters haven’t made up a bigger portion of the electorate in Virginia than they did in 2004.
