Jeffrey Sachs is University Professor at Columbia University and director of the Center for Sustainable Development. He directs the U.N. Sustainable Development Solutions Network on behalf of U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres, and has been special adviser to three U.N. Secretaries-General.
