The old American Scene was my favorite conservative (well, sort of conservative) site, so I was sad to see the band break-up, Ross become more full Atlanticized, and Reihan take the place dark in advance of an uncertain redesign. But now the new Reihan-led American Scene has launched -- and whoa. It's got more contributors (including my favorite conservative film buff, Peter Suderman), more icons, and more pretty. So go for the heterodox conservatism, stay for the freestyle raps, and, above all, check it out.
