It's not exactly a shocker that John McCain opposes the Senate bill that would guarantee equal pay for women, but it's worth noting. This, incidentally, is why I doubt women will abandon the Democrats if Obama wins the nomination (though I still think he should pick a female VP). You may not love Obama, but wait till you get a load of McCain's cranky old man views on choice, equal pay, pant suits, ponytails, Plan B, judicial nominations, sex education, condom efficacy, and on, and on, and on. It's not a comforting platform, and expect to see many more op-eds like this one...
