Recently, I've been noticing an uptick of folks jumping into threads and posting unrelated items they want me to blog about. Generally, I consider that off-topic, and it annoys me. But it also seems a fair impulse, and there's no reason there shouldn't actually be an outlet for blogging suggestions. Hence, Assignment Desk. Every day, I'll post up a thread where you can tell me what to write about. I'll promise to check the thread daily throughout the day, so you can keep adding to it. And if folks actually post ideas, I promise to use at least one every day. In return, no more hijacking other threads with unrelated links. Deal?
