I meant to link to Gershom Gorenberg's "5 Questions Israel Should Ask Before Attacking Iran" last week, but I forgot, so I'll do it now. In general, Israel's military posturing has been so public, and so commonly linked to blind quotes about pressuring the international community to step up their interventions, that I'm not taking the possibility of an attack terribly seriously. If they were readying for a bombing campaign, we wouldn't know about it (just ask the Notorious BIG). But even so, Gorenberg's attempt to outline the practical difficulties of a military response to Iran's nuclear program is a convincing exercise.
