I think it's counterproductive to express contempt for the bin Laden family for asking for inquiries into the death of Osama bin Laden. I've expressed my view that based on what we know, the killing was clearly legal. As Mark Goldberg explains, their legal options are very limited anyway. Short of providing conclusive evidence that bin Laden wasn't still providing a leadership role in al Qaeda, or that he was shot post-capture or surrender, this isn't likely to go anywhere. But they're certainly entitled to ask all the questions and make all the statements they want.
