You may not believe this, but in Washington, young professionals working in the same industry often defray the costs of housing and the alienation of a new city by living in the same dwelling! Sadly, the New York Times let the whole world in on the secret this morning, so now everyone's going to be doing it. In general, the only odd part about having a social circle composed largely of bloggers is that your friends know your opinions before you've explained them in conversation. It's weird to tell someone my take on some op-ed or event and have them say, "yeah, I read you on that this morning." It makes you feel very unoriginal. Frankly, I don't have a whole lot of thoughts beyond the ones I offer here, and I definitely don't have a secret storehouse of unexpressed political opinions. It's sort of a problem. Also, the picture on the second page is the truest representation of this particular social group that one could possibly imagine.
