Carbon sequestration schemes are multiplying rapidly, but the one that I still think holds the most promise is biomass-derived charcoal. (One scheme I was particularly excited about was described here.) I see that the promise of agrichar (as the marketing gurus have apparently branded it) is being more and more widely recognized.
