That's the basic takeaway from this video trailer for a "documentary" called The Export: Radical Islam's Map to the End of Democracy, from the American Center for Law and Justice, the Christian-right legal group run by Jay Sekulow:
According to the ACLJ's pitch, the film "exposes the truth about radical Islam and Sharia law and features hard-hitting footage with John Ashcroft, John Bolton, Oliver North, and numerous other leaders and experts."
The trailer resembles Pam Geller and Robert Spencer's project but of somewhat higher production value. The claims are no less outrageous, though it pivots from the dangers of a nuclear Iran to explaining that if the proposed Islamic community center in downtown Manhattan is built, in the words of one of the talking heads, "we might as well throw the Constitution away." Funny, I thought that's what the folks alleging that a group of people should be legally prevented from building a place of worship on private property were doing. When the ACLJ sued to stop the building from being built, they frankly admitted they wouldn't be doing so if the building were a church.
The transition from Iran's nuclear capabilities to the Park 51 project, as well as the baseless allegation that the project is a "victory monument" commemorating the 9/11 attacks, is meant to underline the broader point that Muslims everywhere are the enemy.
