Hillary Clinton campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle just sent out an e-mail announcing a third-quarter haul of $27 million -- in effect seeing Barack Obama ($20 million) and raising him a John Edwards ($7 million). No word yet on how much of this is for the primary, and how much is for a potential general election bid. Still, it looks like the inevitability argument must be starting to work for Clinton, at least with the donor class. Solis Doyle also crowed that the campaign was able to bring in 100,000 new donors this quarter, surpassing the 93,000 new donors reported by the Obama campaign.
UPDATE: The primary number is in: $22 million of the $27 million.
