WASHINGTON (AP) — The ATF says it has broken up a plot to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate 102 black people in a Tennessee murder spree. In court records unsealed Monday, agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target an unnamed but predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads.There's always a question of how serious and sophisticated these plots are, but the existence of such a plan is scary nonetheless. Meanwhile, the RNC is doing their level best to amp up racial tensions in the final weeks of the election. McCain has previously stated that he considers Reverend Wright divisive and beyond the boundaries of this election. The question now is whether he has it in him to condemn these ads and demand their removal from the air, or whether they'll just be added to the list of things McCain needs to apologize for after the election.
