They do a great job of explaining the candidate's roles in the debate, actually. McCain's is confusing, has the requisite "how extreme" formulation, probably takes Obama out of context -- I'm pretty sure he's never responded to accusations of being liberal by saying people are lying -- and at the end of the day doesn't really make sense. If it's not presidential to accuse people of lying, why did McCain do it in yesterday's advertisement?
The Obama campaign's contribution to our over-crowded airwaves, on the other hand, criticizes McCain's health care plan without distorting it in a simple enough way for almost anyone to understand.
