Good question from the audience about immigration, from someone who may have actually been an immigrant (he greeted the candidates in Spanish). Richardson said he's the only candidate actually against building a border fence, and from off-screen you could hear Kucinich yell that he doesn't support it, either. Richardson also spoke to a path-to-citizenship plan -- not amnesty, but a concrete plan for making people already here legal. Dodd was the only other candidate that got to answer this one, and he used most of his time to show off his Spanish skills. This is a much more relevant question than the previous one on drivers' license. It should have gone to the other candidates as well.
