Gershom Gorenberg has a great article examining the attempts to smear Robert Malley, a former Middle East negotiator for Clinton and the current Middle East director for the Israeli Crisis Group. The attempts to attack Malley, Gorenberg contends, are really about wresting control of the narrative around Camp David, Palestinian intransigence, and Ehud Barak's historical legacy. I don't have a lot to say on the piece, but it should be read.
