My father smartly warns:
It occurred to me that it is likely that Hillary will win the popular vote in California, but Barak would win the delegate count....The democratic primary here is by congressional district. There is no California primary, but a large number of distinct district primaries with proportional (in each district) allocation of delegates. So it can be like Nevada. Hillary wins big in East LA but Barak carries all general election republican district plus West LA, Malibu, etc, and Watts like areas. He wins delegates, she wins the popular vote.Even aside from the tightening in the polls, keep an eye on the districts. The media will report this as a game of percentages, but the longer it stretches, the more it becomes a contest for delegates. Which is why it would be wise to read Sam Boyd's explainer on all things delegate related if you haven't already done so.
