- Of Obama's first 58 appointees, a little less than half, 46 percent, are white males.
- Men make up 68 percent of the appointees.
- White people make up 70 percent of the appointees.
- Of Bill Clinton's first round of appointees, 81 percent were white and 75 percent were men.
- Of George W. Bush's first round, 79 percent were white and 86 percent were male.
