Incidentally, over at Healthy Policy, where I'm doing some guest health care blogging till week's end, I'm running a fundraiser of sorts for Kate, who entered the hospital a few hours back for fairly extensive knee surgery. The hope is to furnish her with a nice Amazon gift certificate so she can remain entertained during her multimonth recuperation process.
