. It's not necessarily as good on Harvey Milk's life as the movie was, but it's far better on the context that surrounded him. The police actions against homosexuals, the constant beatings of gays, the internal tensions of the gay movement, the agony caused by the constant need for secrecy and self-denial. The fact that this sort of video can even be made is a triumph. We've come far. But there's still farther to go.
